- Identity information: name, date of birth, Aadhaar, PAN, photographs

- Financial information: bank account details, income proof, transaction history

regulatory authorities (Registrar of Chits, Income Tax, RBI), our banking partners
for transaction processing, and our statutory auditors, all bound by confidentiality.

All sensitive information is stored with bank-grade encryption (AES-256).
Our systems undergo annual security audits. Physical documents are maintained
in fireproof, access-controlled vaults.

Terms of Service

By accessing our website or enrolling in any AR Chit Funds scheme, you agree
to these Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, an Indian citizen or NRI with valid KYC
documentation, and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
2. Membership Obligations
Members agree to:
- Pay monthly installments by the due date specified in their chit agreement
- Participate in auctions fairly and honestly
- Provide required security documents if declared a prized subscriber
- Notify AR of any change in contact information promptly
3. Foreman's Commission
AR Chit Funds charges a foreman's commission of 5% of the total chit value,
as permitted under the Chit Funds Act, 1982. This is the only charge for
standard chit services.
4. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from chit participation shall first be addressed through our
internal grievance mechanism. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration
under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
5. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Members will be notified of any
material changes via email and SMS at least 30 days before taking effect.
Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Pre-Enrollment Cancellation
If you cancel before your chit group is formed (before the first installment is
collected), any advance payment is refunded in full within 7 business days, with
no deductions.
2. Non-Prized Subscriber Exit
A non-prized subscriber (one who has not yet received the chit amount) may
terminate membership in writing. Installments paid are refunded after the chit
group is successfully concluded, less any applicable deductions as specified in
the chit agreement and the Chit Funds Act.
3. Prized Subscriber Obligations
A prized subscriber (one who has already received the chit amount) must continue
paying all remaining installments until the chit's completion. Refunds are not
applicable.
4. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds are processed via NEFT to the member's registered bank account
within 15 business days of chit completion or termination approval. A detailed
refund statement is provided.
KYC & AML Policy

In compliance with RBI guidelines and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act
(PMLA), 2002, AR Chit Funds follows strict Know Your Customer (KYC) and
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
1. Customer Due Diligence
All members must complete KYC verification before enrollment through valid
government-issued identification (Aadhaar, PAN) and proof of address.
2. Enhanced Due Diligence
For chits above ₹10 Lakhs, additional income proof, source-of-funds declaration,
and enhanced verification are required as per regulatory norms.
3. Transaction Monitoring
All transactions are monitored for unusual patterns. Suspicious transactions are
reported to the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-IND) as required by law.
4. Record Retention
We retain member records for a minimum of 5 years after the last transaction,
as required by PMLA regulations.
Grievance Redressal Policy

We take every member concern seriously. Our tiered grievance redressal framework
ensures fair, timely resolution.
Level 1 - Branch Manager
Initial grievances should be submitted in writing to your branch manager.
Resolution timeline: 7 business days.
Level 2 - Grievance Officer
If unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer at
architfunds2014@gmail.com or +91 73056 87299. Resolution timeline: 15
business days.
Level 3 - Regulatory Authority
If still unsatisfied, members may approach the Registrar of Chits, Government
of Tamil Nadu, at registrar.chits@tn.gov.in for independent redressal.
